I wanted to reach out to you now that we have been in our new beautiful home for a few months (moved in the end of June). I would tell everyone that I would recommend you as a builder for the quality, value, workmanship and design of your homes. We first started looking at buying a home in Florida back in 2019. We drove from the Ft. Lauderdale side across to the Spring Hill side of Florida. Looking for the perfect and safe area to move to. Then my husband found North Port to be safe, close to restaurants and my favorite shopping at Walmart. We knew we found the perfect location to purchase a house. When we came back in January 2020 we were looking for a home that was already built so we could just move and not have to wait for it to be built. Also, I was not sure if we could afford a newly built home. While searching the North Port area for a home we happened to come across your model on Price Rd along with several other new home builders also on this street. We were very lucky to have stopped at GulfStar first to look at the beautiful model. We loved the open floor plan and the three bedrooms were perfect sized too. It would only be us since we were ready to retire to Florida, our dream for many years. The upgrades like the windows (hurricane rated) were REALLY important for me. Granite counter tops throughout the home (kitchen, bathrooms, window ledges.) Tile throughout the entire home which we really wanted - no carpet in any of the bedrooms. It was the perfect home. When we went back home we still searched for existing homes and we compared all those homes between existing and new. GulfStar Homes came with all the extras and upgrades at no cost. We decided in March to go for it and my husband assured me that we could afford having a new home built. We signed the contract and could not wait for our house to be built. The value of the house compared to existing homes and other builders was amazing. Catherine Mitchell from GulfStar kept us updated on all the progress from start to finish. She answered my endless questions since this was our first brand new home and I had lots of them. She even sent us pictures of items like the shower tile, the floor tile, the garage. She was a Godsend on helping us with knowing what was going on with our home since we were still in Maryland. If there were any delays or issues she was right on top of things and letting us know right away once they were solved. We have had a few minor things and anytime that we have reached out to GulfStar they responded pretty much the same day (between Tracy Slavin and Catherine Mitchell). We really love our new home and the area that my husband found. We did not want an area with a HOA or stuck in a community environment with cookie cutter homes all the same. We have a beautiful home that really sticks out in our neighborhood. So far all the new neighbors and family that have visited us have stated that we really got a great deal with all the extras, upgrades, and the area. We love our new home! The kitchen is amazing; I have every kitchen gadget known to man and everything has a place. Our bedroom is huge and the bathroom and shower are awesome. The closet in the master is large enough for us to share with space left over!

My parents bought a GulfStar home two years ago and have had no issues with the quality of their home. After hurricane Ian hit, their home had zero damage! That's why we chose to buy a GulfStar home. During the month of November, my spouse and I were seeking to purchase a home.  We were driving on Price Boulevard and noticed a model by GulfStar Homes.  We called and made an appointment to view the model.  Sally was most gracious, and answered all of our thousands of questions!  We viewed other model homes but decided to go with GulfStar because of the "homey" atmosphere that it portrayed.

We put down our deposit, however, due to circumstances beyond our control, had to request an extension.  This was graciously honored by the owner, Larry.

After we moved in, there were some cosmetic issues that required attention.  The way in which these issues were attended to was amazing.  Pam ensured that all work orders were put out in a timely manner, because the workmen called us immediately to tend to our needs.  There was not one time that we were not kept abreast of when someone was coming.  The workmen have been so polite and respectful to us...not only being pleasant but also respecting our time.

Yes, I would highly recommend this builder to others. The design and craftsmanship is superior in comparison to other builders. Also, all the upgrades are included and are very high end upgrades. We recently purchased a GulfStar home and everything just fell into place.  We moved from Indiana to Florida and they made everything very easy.  Sally is the nicest person ever!

Your layout is awesome, and the home is well appointed. When I came down to see the house models in person it was even better than the photos and video. The kitchen is quite large with enough cabinets to store everything. The kitchen island is huge, giving us a great space to entertain.

The quality and craftmanship is superb. But the best part is, it's fully upgraded. Everything is included from the granite countertops, to tiled floors throughout, lighting, fans, sprinkler system, even hurricane-grade windows. I've been in my new GulfStar home for about six weeks now.  I love my home and could not be any happier with it!  Sally at the model home was always helpful with my numerous questions.  Matt did the final walk through with me and gave such a thorough overview on everything including the mechanics of the house.  Even my realtor said she had never been through such a thorough walk through.

After researching several of the builders in the North Port area I chose to go with GulfStar Homes to build my home and I am so happy that I did. First and foremost is that I loved the simple but elegant design of the home. It comes with everything you need except the washer and dryer and the window treatment. Everything is already upgraded like the counter tops and kitchen appliances. The lot is included with the landscaping and an irrigation system. Other builders prices did not include the lot and their model homes only showed the upgraded features that you must add on to the price they advertise. During the building process they stayed on schedule and we closed the date promised. They were always available for me to stop by the office and ask questions or just look around the model home so I could get some decoration ideas. As far as the value, no other builder could come close to the price that GulfStar offered, and as I mentioned it was my favorite design of all the builders in the area. If I had to do it all over again I would definitely go with GulfStar Homes. 

I found the design of this house online and this home is what I wanted. Nice design, good price, and very nice and pleasant workers. Also a big plus is everything is included in the price. I have recommended my friends this company and two of my friends are currently on the waiting list.

After Hurricane Ian, my daughter's house had no damage. It was the only house in her area that looked perfect and I knew that if I were ever to move to North Port, I would want a GulfStar home.

I couldn't be more pleased with my new home. The entire process was perfect, from start to finish. My parents bought a GulfStar home two years ago and have had no issues with the quality of their home. After Hurricane Ian hit, their home had zero damage. That's why we chose to buy a GulfStar. We knew the workmanship is second to none!

My wife and I were looking for a new home under 1500 square feet.  We stopped at all the models on Price Blvd.  The one we liked best was the Orion model.  After we looked at the model and checked out the standard features, we thought the price and value were the best.  The staff were very helpful and we would recommend GulfStar Homes to anybody.

We were looking for a used home in the area and didn't even consider NEW construction.  After having made offers and a couple of failed inspections on 10 - 15 year old homes, our real estate agent suggested new...but not just any new builder, GULFSTAR Homes.  It was actually less expensive than the used homes we were looking at.  The house was already built and ready to close on in a short time.

When we walked in the model, we were impressed with the standard upgrades.   Most of all, PGT hurricane windows (needs NO shutters), the kitchen is magazine worthy, it is the attention to detail that impressed me the most.  Soft close cabinets and drawers.  Upgraded lighting, fans, and tile throughout.

We have been in our house for over a month, and love our home. The buying process was easy and stress free and we closed on time. Sally was great, and everyone at GulfStar was responsive and professional. The walk through was thorough, and they went through everything, even showing us how to change the filter in the AC. Our pest control guy was super impressed and said the house was built solid with no cracks or crevices that the bugs can get through. I would definitely buy again from them ... we are very happy with our home.
